She can make any weapon to harbor magic using iron. She also has severe social anxiety. Ziva spends her days in her forge making magical weapons. Ziva receives a request from a powerful warlord to make her a special weapon. The weapon Ziva ends up making a sword capable of stealing its victims' secrets. This sword has the strength to take down kingdoms. When Ziva learns the true intentions the warlord has for the sword, to use the weapon to enslave the world under her rule, she runs away with her sister. On their journey they are joined by a handsome mercenary and a young scholar, with a knowledge of the world's magic, to keep the sword safe until they find someone worthy of its power. Title: Better Than the Movies Author: Lynn Painter Genre: YA Romance Page Number: 349 My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Synopsis:  Lover and daydreamer Liz Buxbaum had a crush on a boy named Micheal for as long as she can remember. He moved away before she could do anything about it. Now that he is back in town, Liz is determined to get him to notice her and hopefully have him ask her to prom, even if it means befriending Wes Bennett. Wes is the annoying and attractive next door neighbor who has been a pain to Liz since they were kids. Wes and Michael are friends which means Wes is Liz’s way in. However, as Wes and Liz begin to plot ways to get her noticed by Micheal, the inevitable feelings begin to grow.    Review:  If you are looking for the romance book to end all romance books, this is the one for you.
